Top 4 reasons why avid cruisers will enjoy an all-inclusive resort

Though my family cruises more than we stay at all-inclusive resorts, I have to admit that I’m a fan of both. But I know that everyone may not be. In fact, just this week, I posted a poll to my Facebook page {click here to follow me} and I was a bit surprised by the results. Team All-Inclusive beat out Team Cruise!

Perhaps that’s due to the pandemic. Perhaps not. I do know that those of you that are avid cruisers really LOVE cruising and swear by it. Of course, they have their differences {hello, Big Boat!} but there’s a lot they have in common, too.

So, here it is….my TOP 4 REASONS why cruisers should consider an all-inclusive resort…

  1. FOOD. Or should I say the ABUNDANCE of food! That’s one of the best parts of being on a cruise ship. Everywhere you turn, there’s food.

The main dining room. Pool side grills. Pizza parlors. Room service. Buffets. Multiple restaurants.

All-inclusive resorts are the same! With a variety of dining options, from quick and casual to elegant and romantic. Most of it is included with the price of your vacation. But, just like cruises, you can opt for an upgraded experience at one of the specialty restaurants.

2. ACTIVITIES. Complimentary activities of some type are always provided on cruises. Think karaoke, shows, exercise classes, sports, games, etc. The same goes for all-inclusive resorts. {My favorites are trivia nights and poolside games or exercising- for watching, not doing…HAH!}

One of the really fun parts about cruising is picking out shore excursions. Do you want to swim with the dolphins? Relax on a secluded beach? Zipline through the canopies? Well, guest what??? You can do that at an all-inclusive, too!

And, should you choose a large ship or resort, you’ll have more to do than you have time for!

3. DESTINATIONS. The destination options for cruises are endless. And while all-inclusive locations aren’t quite as plentiful you certainly won’t run out of amazing vacation spots.

{Travel Fact: While most of us are familiar with the all-inclusive concept, true all-inclusive resorts are mainly found in the Caribbean and Mexico. This means you won’t be staying at one in Hawai’i. 😉}

Now, the final reason you cruise lovin’ folks might want to consider an all-inclusive resort stay for your next vacation…

4. REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. Covid-19 vaccinations are a touchy subject and one I don’t plan to get into. BUT, it certainly will play a part {probably a BIG part} in making your decision. Even if it doesn’t, you just might not be comfortable stepping onto a cruise ship, yet.

And that’s when you’ll find yourself looking for another vacation option. With the large volume of all-inclusive resorts and locations you’re sure to find one that fits YOUR comfort level.

If you want to know more about cruising next year or finding the perfect resort, send me a message. I would love to help you navigate the options!

Happy Travels!
